Hello! We are the Velazquez Family, Owners and Operators of Dos Primas Eventives. Welcome to our website!

Dos Primas Eventives is a comprehensive event planning company. We can plan a wide spectrum of events for you, from dinner parties to a wonderful wedding day. We are a family owned and operated company, and we can provide with all that you need, whether it just be direction for your special day, or soup to nuts, right down to your placecards!

Dos Primas means "Two Cousins" in Spanish. The primas in this family are Tamara and Maritza. We got the idea to start our company when Maritza got married. We saw all the expense that can accumulate in planning a wedding, and decided that maybe we could save some money by doing a lot of things ourselves. We discovered SO MANY WAYS to save money and still throw a wonderful, elegant event. In doing so, we thought that we could bring our ideas and money saving ways to other people that want to have wonderful events on a budget.

Since we are a family business, we do a lot of the legwork ourselves, cutting out drastic markups that retailers will pass on to you for a finished product, making our invitations, party favors, etc. much more affordable, and just as beautiful!

Any outsourcing that we do (for DJ's, Limos, Etc.) is done with reputable companies with whom we have spent a long time cultivating a good and sound business relationship. They understand our desire to bring affordable and reliable services to our clients, and offer reasonable rates.

We also bring years of experience in the kitchen, behind the bar and in the creative spectrum.

We are not just wedding planners...we can handle in home dinner parties, showers, children's parties and theme events.
